I have been making artwork all of my life since I could color with a crayon. when I grew up and finished my grade schools I went to the Art Institute of Seattle where I got my Associates in Art & Animation in 1998. After graduating I gained a job as a Laserist, a Laser Light Show animator for a small light show production company. There I made various shows for venues in Las Vegas, different events at Casinos, for company corporate events, school tours, and road shows, all kinds of things. Unfortunately lasers are expensive things and that company went bust. After a while of normal jobs here and there I gained work at a company making graphics for Pull Tab gambling games - Bonanza Press Inc. All the little cartoons and icons and things that you see printed on the little tickets and splash boards on those ticket games you see in bars and whatnot. Still, as that is heavily dependant on the economy, I had to leave that one and after a bit found myself employed at the grand Boeing Company. There is where I am currently positioned. I work in Airplane Interior Installations. Basically I install the inside of the jet planes, seats, inner linings, cabin stuff, wiring, all that. While that isn't necessarily an artistic job, it sure pays the bills! And I am proud to be hired on at Boeing. If my career there hangs on I hope to continue my education. As the Boeing Company will pay for most extended learning at most any college towards a degree. I think I might go for that Bachelors in Graphic Arts.
